In his latest opinion piece published at matusikmissive.wordpress.com, independent property analyst Michael Matusik writes:

"Astute property buyers should start to look beyond the capitals for investment opportunities.  The big winners in this regional resurgence are most likely going to be the resource towns - the 'muscle towns', as Bernard Salt recently called them.  By this we don't mean the fly-in fly out places like Moranbah, but places critical to the delivery of iron ore, gas and coal - like Gladstone, Wollongong, Newcastle, Surat Basin (Toowoomba) and Toowoomba. Expect big thins in these regions."

He predicts that Regional Australia is on the cusp of big demographic changes and asserts that the recent budget promise of skilled migrant workers will increase the push to Regional property.
